Dona MacDonald

Dona MacDonald and Steve Boyd founded MacDonald Boyd and Associates with a shared passion for teaching, learning, and making the world a better place for all people. MBA’s primary focus has always been helping leaders and managers face their toughest personal, team, and organizational challenges.

Dona and Steve continually worked at the forefront of the growing and evolving field of Organization Development. From 1979-1981, they participated in the inaugural class of the International Institute for the Study of Systems Renewal, part of the Gordon Lippitt Consulting Group. This graduate program is now offered as a Master’s Degree at Seattle University through the program for Organization Systems Renewal (OSR).

In the spring of 2006, Dona passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dona was an expert on individual and team development emphasizing skills training in communication, conflict and change management, behavior styles, leadership, and interpersonal negotiation. Dona’s foundational work and research continue to influence and shape MBA’s work and ideas.

Over the course of thirty-plus years, MBA has worked with hundreds of organizations and provided training and coaching to thousands of individuals across four continents. Building on Dona and Steve’s strong foundation, MBA continues to grow, evolve, and thrive.
